Hey all, I need a bit of help with putting together something for work. I have been told this can be done in Photoshop, but I'm struggling to work it out. See the pic above there? Basically we want to set up a standard bedroom shot and then be able to easily apply different bedding designs to the shot. The photo above has the same bed shape, background etc and the actual designs are then just applied to it. Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

I'm currently playing around with Displace mapping, but I'm not sold on that being the answer yet.

Hey hey!

Just a quick note to let you all know that the Blah Blah Blah Creations website is up and running (sort of, we have our under construction/coming soon page up) but from there you can link to our eBay store, Twitter and Facebook pages to keep in touch. So if anyone is interested, head on over, join the mailking list and stay updated for any new product developments. The webpage will eventually have an online store and some other fun stuff on there but that will wait until we get a few more products finished up and ready to go. There will be a few new products going into the eBay store next week too.

Just a quick journal to let you all know that I probably won't be around here much over the next few months. I've got a few jobs to work on and I really need to knuckle down and get some designs done for Blah Blah Blah Creations. I'll still pop my head in once or twice a week to check out what is going on, but I really don't have the time to do much more.

For the next two we'll be doing something a little different. The lineups will not be featuring just one character, they will be Transformers themed. For July we'll be doing Autobots, August will be Decepticons.

Here's how it will work:

Each person wishing to take part should name THREE Autobots they wish to draw. Your number one choice will be taken if available, but if it is not available your number two and so on. So first in best dressed!
If you need some help in choosing characters, head on over to the a href=[link]">Transformers Wiki Here is a link to a list of Autobots, but it might not be all of them still [link]
I will list all of the characters and who they are assigned to in this journal so you can see who has chosen what, but there still may be people that contact me via note or not in a journal reply so please list three characters so you don't miss out.
Since there are multiple versions of a lot of the characters I will only accept one version of each Autobot. This way there won't be four different Bumblebees etc.
Once you've drawn one character, feel free to pick another to draw but don't go too nuts and take all the good ones early.
Please draw the characters in their robot mode. They'll all fit together much better this way. I may allow some exceptions to this rule with characters like the Dinobots etc. Ask me first though!
You can choose characters from any Transformers franchise (Generation 1, film, animated, etc)
You can draw the characters in any style you'd like
I might accept entries for some human characters if people want to take part but don't want to draw a Transformer.
Since this is a lineup, full bodied pictures only
Entries should be on a plain white background.
Entries should be at least 800 pixels in height.
I'd prefer your entries to be in colour, but it's not the end of the world if they aren't.
Anyone can join in

You may draw Wonder Woman in any style you choose. You can use an existing version or redesign her however you want.
Since this is a lineup, full bodied pictures only
Entries should be on a plain white background.
Entries should be at least 800 pixels in height.
I'd prefer your entries to be in colour, but it's not the end of the world if they aren't.
There's no real deadline. I'll be starting the next OCL at the start of July so the focus will be on the next one after that so try and get entries in by then.

May is here (already!) which means it's time for another One Character Lineup. This month, to celebrate the release of the his movie the lineup will be focused on Wolverine. Details below:

Just a quick note to let you know that I won't be starting the next lineup until next week now as I'm off camping for the weekend. As for the topic of the next one, it'll be featuring a certain hairy little mutant who has had his very own movie just released today...





Well it looks like the Joker has won the poll, so he's going to be the subject of the next One Character Lineup. Don't worry if you wanted someone else to get the nod, these are going to be ongoing for quite a while (I hope!) so most of the others in the poll will get their time in the OCL spotlight.
